Elena (Lanie) Bohannon is a vocalist who has previously appeared on recordings with Wyndsmyth, The Music School of Niagara, and Terry Dean. She has a background in musical theatre and classical singing, but her heart lies with southern gospel, traditional, and contemporary Christian music. Her first solo effort is an EP titled Perfect Love, released in late 2015, consisting of four devotional Christian songs.
All proceeds from the sale of Perfect Love will be donated to Marchiano Ministries, a California-based Christian organization that focuses on providing food, clothing, medical treatment, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with South African orphans of AIDS. Randy Andropolis is credited with arranging all the music and playing all of the instruments on the album, with the exception of Vicky Mehr who provided string quartet on the song Bright Morning Star, and Jim Salhany on background vocals for the song It Is Well With My Soul.
